Hi! I didn't see a better place to put suggestions or feedback, but would it be possible to get an option to completely disable the Def editing/override system?

I use Character Editor a lot in mod development and I recently had an issue where one of my RecipeDefs was badly malfunctioning and it took me a week to realize it was because I accidentally put an override in Character Editor and it was causing all sorts of havoc. Even using "reset all to defaults" doesn't work as I expected; I have many ThingDefs with multiple RecipeDefs feeding into them, and hitting reset was making them all merge which is also bad for my sanity.

I'd love to keep using Character Editor for development, but if I can't find a way to shut this system off then I'll have to ditch it for the same reason I couldn't use In-Game Def Editor or Rimmsqol for dev mod lists, I lose far too much time to overrides messing with my data.
