Hey, I can confirm Kormas problem with not being able to give IV Antibiotics to patients, even though they are hospitalized. (Not sure if it's all patients or just some). I get the same problem as Korma with spazzing out warnings that this patient needs IV Antibiotics and will leave if they don't get it etc, but IV antibiotics doesn't show up as a possible treatment.

When I remove this mod I get the option to give IV Antibiotics, and when i re-subscribe to it and load the game - that option disappears.

(On a "funny" sidenote, when I removed the mod and loaded the game it literally took TWO seconds before I had a patient collapse, so I'm very much hoping there's a fix for this - because I love this mod! :)

Same here, I just saw the issue today, never happened to me before and played a lot yesterday.

The more details you guys can give me the better. I'm going to investigate the problem tomorrow. Is it all patients or patients with a specific disease. Pancreatitis maybe? I changed the treatment from IV Antibiotics to IV infusion Is it happening in every department?

Yes, belive all (but not so many) cases I've had so far har been Pancreatitis. This savegame is not so old, so just recently got Hospitalization in my first department, but now that you mention it, I believe they were all Pancreatitis. Will play a little now and get back to you.

It's pancreatitis, yes and the new treatment was working ok. Now that I recall, the only change I made that triggered the bug was the opening of the Internal Medecine department. Before that, the game was working as intended.

EDIT: Yes, now it's happening in every department

Yeah, I have a patient with Cholangitis at least receiving IV Antibiotics in the same Ward as the Pancreatitis who could not receive it, so if you changed from IV Antibiotics to IV Infusion with Pancreatitis - that's probably the culprit.

Btw, is there a mod-folder for this game, or do you just tinker with the base files? Was looking to alter it myself now to try it out, but it seemed to match up (IV antibiotics) everywhere i looked.

EDIT: Been playing a few hours now, so far it's only related to Pancreatitis. I only have hospitalization at General Surgery still, so I can only speak for that.

But Pancreatitis is no longer treated with IV Antibiotics in this mod. I tested this before I released it and mousing over the diagnosis says the treatment is IV infusion. So are you saying the game is still trying to give a patient with Pancreatitis IV antibiotics? Are you sure it's just the pancreatitis? Have you seen other patients being treated with IV antibiotics successfully?

So is it just Pancreatitis (which is only in the General Surgery department) or is it other diseases as well across all departments that can't receive IV Antibiotics?

My bad, so far it's just Pancreatitis, I was trying to fix the notification bug and I transfered the patient to Internal Medicine, and forgot completely about it. Sadly I have reached the point that I'm forced to disable the mod to continue playing.
There must be a way to fix this without going back to the previous treatment which makes no sense. The weird thing is that prior to enable the Internal Medicine department, it was working well, I treated several cases of Pancreatitis with IV infusions, no issue whatsoever. Then, it happened... (I did have a workshop update of PH before that happened though).
I hope you can fix it

Cheers

I figured out the issue. I released an update to the mod yesterday which changed the treatment string table to "attempt" to make it compatible with the Sexual Health mod. This ended up breaking the new treatments for Pancreatitis and Pneumothorax. I reverted the changes and it's working again. I'd appreciate it if you could check and see if it's resolved the issues.

So, this means the mod is no longer compatible with Sexual Health mod?
León 3 Oct, 2019 @ 12:02pm
Works perfectly fine now. Ignore the message above, I already saw your comment on the workshop page.

Thanks for the fix

Excellent news! Thanks for your efforts Butch, and sorry for my somewhat confusing rambles earlier on. Have a good one :)

Hi! Im glad I wasn't the only one with the issue haha. I believe my case was also a patient that had Pancreatitis. Ill check if i have the save file still because I saw you mentioned you planned to add 150 different Diagnosis, so i'd really like to see this mod get off the ground.
