Bug Reports
To keep better track of the reported issues, I started this discussion. So please feel free to report any issues you have with the block.

Fixed issues

  • Spontaneously appearing voxels while drilling. Fixed 1.0.0.1 (2019.10.13)
  • Unable to drill any ores from Better Stone. Tested and Working, seems to fixed with 1.0.0.0 (2019.10.06)
  • Not clearable spikes inside drill area on clients. Fixed 1.0.05 (2019.10.20)
  • Improvement in client server communication (less load). Done 1.0.05 (2019.10.20)
  • Drill now also mining planetary surface boulders. Fixed 1.0.6 (2020-02-17)
  • Side mount points now correct. Fixed 1.0.6 (2020-02-17)

    How to report an issue
If you have trouble with the mod, in order to help, I would need some information.
    • In case of a crash at least a game log file and mod logfile.
    • In case of trouble while playing, switch off all nanodrills that don't have a problem, increase the mod's loglevel (Type in chat "/nanodrills -loglevel all"), let the game running for a few minutes, after that you could decrease the loglevel again ("/nanodrills -loglevel default") and share the mod logfile together with a short description what you observed (+ the name of the nanodrill having the problem).

Game log file could be found under:
    "C:\Users\Usernane\AppData\Roaming\SpaceEngineers\SpaceEngineers.log"
Mod log file could be found under:
    "C:\Users\Usernane\AppData\Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Storage\1879455650.sbm_NanobotDrillSystem\NanobotDrillSystem.log"
For sharing you could use e.g. https://pastebin.com/

    not really a bug:
how do i get it to work on modded ores?
im using "deuterium fusion reactors" wich adds deuterium ice to the game. the drill system (in drill mode) will just create floatings and well, the deut. ice will not show up in the priority list.
dont know about other modded ores.
it diggs through it but only collects the stone and create the deut. ice as a floating object.

also the drill will show: deuterium in the "items to drill list" and deuterium ice in the "floatings to collect list"

besides that it works just great :steamhappy: good work !
(i loaded the ore mod before the drill mod btw)

when first starting the drill, when it is above ground (or placed on a rotor) it will spawn in a large mass of voxel. it was on the drill mode.
not to big a deal since i can change the AOE and collect it, but this was above the orig surface level

Same as Dr. Laurenz Geistert. I seem to be unable to drill any ores from Better Stone using this.

I was using it to drill the initial entrance to my base. It was going well, until it spawned a large mass of voxels around itself and completely blew up my respawn pod. The below screen shot shows what it looks like after I managed to dig the remains of the pod out.

    and @greendragonsegg

Very strange never happend to me. Has this been a 'floating' object or a solid block connected to the voxel beeing drilled?

Do you happen to have the traces of the time?
Or can you somehow provoke that?

Do you mean this Mod ? (I never tested it against it, but if this is the one i will do so.)

    More of a Mod conflict.
    AQD Quality of life mod.
is all disabled when this mod is on.

same problem. the drill seems to dig some up and replace the the voxels with new ones creating infinite ice/stone generation farm.

I had been tunneling through, all that area had been cleared of stone, and I could walk easily in the area. I extended the flooring and then I moved my the rover I had the drill attached to into the space after it had finished the first tunnel section. Suddenly that voxel mass appeared and from what I could tell it is fully attached to the ground that had been drilled. If you like I can give you the save from just after the rover finished detonating.

I've done some tests with landing gears, wheels, pistons, fixed connected grids, .. and all went ok.
So if you have the save game I would appreciate it. A long with some additional data:
Single or Multiplayer, construction of the rover (in case it no longer recognizable after the crash), pistons, motors, anything special. Setting of the drill (mode: drill/collect, enabled ores,).
    Thanks

    Here is the save file:
    http:// www.mediafire .com/file/ 81nezr7ubxg6u2a/ Kaltera_Corp_Blew_up.rar/file

What info I could figure out is recorded in a readme.txt file. And I do have mods running so it is possible a conflict happened.

Edit: Steam kept removing the link just remove the extra spaces.

That is indeed the mod i was talking about

I have the Problem that the Drill removing Voxels outside his Area. I set his Area so it digs out an entrance for my Underbroundbase, but it also removes voxels around. I'm on my server.
    UnseenOni 10. okt. 2019 kl. 7:42
Not sure if bug or mod conflict, but I'm running a Dedi server and have 2 of these drills on my Earth base, but when another player turned one on up on Mars, the server restarted without error in Keens log, but Torch's log kicked this out:

System.DivideByZeroException: Attempted to divide by zero.

He turned the drill on a second time and it happened again. Meanwhile the ones I have on Earth are still working fine.

Update: Issue never happened again, however, now I'm experiencing the same voxel mass issue others are, a blob of stone appearing in a spot where the drill had already dug out, creating an infinite dig/fill situation.
