I dunno if nyt still reads this but...
what do these settings do?

SloopSteeringRate=0.6

SloopSteeringForce=10000

SloopSteeringForceMin=30000

SloopSteeringForceMax=175000

SloopFixedThrottleRate=500000

thank you!

I know that the steering rate affects how quickly the ship rotates on its axis. Higher values means it can turn faster while moving. I dont think it affects how quickly you can turn the ship while stationary. As for the Force and Throttle, I havent messed with that much, but I assume that it affects how much force is necessary to turn the ship. So the 'SteeringForce" is how much the rudder generates, while "ForceMin" is the minimum force required to make the ship start turning, and "ForceMax" is the max amount of force that the rudder can apply to the ship. Im guessing that is you increase the "Force" without modifying the Min and Max, you may find that the rudder doesnt need to turn as far in order to make the ship turn a certain way. The "ThrottleRate" is something I have no idea about, but am guessing that it affects how quickly the ship starts moving once the sails are opened, but I can be wrong about that.

Also, I know Im not Nyt, but I figured Id still say something, if any of it helps at all

Thanks Valkyrie! They were all made available in an experimental state. Some settings had to be disabled because they caused instability with the ships.

I messed with all of the force related ones before, and if you set them too high after you have built a full ship, the ship turns invisible. Not sure why...
