On the table, left of the main board. Or here: http://cloud-3.steamusercontent.com/ugc/1634235263421954701/EA16BD0923DFFDDF4343F4A223644771E597E6B1/

> What happens when I land on the same tile as another player?
Nothing happens. Two players can be at the same tile. You do not have to battle or trade a player on the same tile as you.

The pioneer effect for Sunyshore (one the Tier 3 Map) reads "you can transport your pawn to any space in this hexagon". After moving to a new space, does the player still get to fight the gym leader [Volkner] from their new space? Or do they have to go back to the gym?

Bill's Machine: The card reads to "try to capture 2 of the 4 revealed pokemon", but the rulebook reads to "try to capture 1 of the 4". Which one is correct?

If you choose to move to another space you can't fight the leader at the end of your turn.

It's 2, I'll fix the rulebook. Thanks for catching that!

Going over the rulebook and questioning a couple of things.

1 ) When travelling if you roll more than it would be to land on a city space, you can choose to stop short on the city space yes?

2) I know you face the gym leader at the end of your turn while on a city space. Say you fail your first attempt. Can you choose to not move on your next turn so you may stay on the city space or do you have to move on and circle back?

3) The rulebook's first rules that explains battling has a picture of a 3v3 pokemon battle but doesn't get too much into the details of it. Are pokemon facing the pokemon directly across from each other only or is it considered a free for all where type advantage could be played against any and all opponents instead of the 1 directly across from your combatant?

Thanks for the questions! Now on to the answers:

Right.

Yes, you can stay in the City. It's the only space you can choose to reactivate it instead of moving. I'll clarify that in the rulebook.

The 3v3 battle happens in the Pokémon League, but it's not a simultaneous battle - every player sends 3 Pokémon, but they get sent one at a time. Let's check a Battle example:

- Player A is facing Player B in the league.
- Player A sends the Pokémon "A1" and at the same time Player B sends the Pokémon "B1".
- They battle and "A1" wins, he stays on the field.
- Player B chooses who he will send as his "B2".
- "A1" battles "B2". Let's say "A1" wins again.
- Player B chooses who he will send as his "B3".
- Now let's say "B3" beats "A1". "B3" stays on the field while Player A picks his "A2".

So the first player to get the 3 Pokémon defeated loses.
If one of those battles ends up in a draw, both Pokémon get knocked out and both players send the next Pokémon at the same time.
(not sure my explanation here was great, but I can clarify any points if needed)

Do you lock Pokemon twice? Once when you earn your sixth gym badge, and when you enter the indigo plateau.

Yes, you can lock/upgrade two of your Pokémon families. One at the sixth badge and one by stopping in the Indigo Plateau.

Hey tysm for the speedy response! I had one more question, how does Red's trainer card work? The rulebook doesn't have any clarification how the sequence of dice rolling works. I assume it means you roll twice, and if any of those die numbers correspond to the die numbers on the card you catch the pokemon.

Yeah, pretty much that.
Also, if you click twice on the Dice Roller you will roll two dices and both results will be displayed.

Played another fun game, but we ran into some troubles.
Can a super event card be negated by a poke flute? The wording of the poke flute specifies event cards, not super event cards; but idk.

Yes, the Poké-Flute com skip the Super Event Card for the next. Also, you can copy Super Events by an Exp. Share.

Hi I have an question about the trainer card Hau. Can I use his ability to use pioneer and first visit effects?

No. First visit and pioneer effects happen only once and can't be repeated.
But staying in a city is always possible, even if you don't have Hau as the trainer (if you want to battle a gym leader that has defeated you, as an example)

Ty for the fast response. I have another question for you. Me and my friend ran into the problem that we didn't know what to do when you defeat one elite trainer(we are not using the pokemon league yet because we only play with 2 players). We resolved this problem by using the rule for the pokemon league format which is that all players have to return back to the indigo plateau when one player defeats an elite trainer. Is this correct or incorrect. What happens when you lose the battle against an elite trainer?

In the Elite 4 Mode the players return to the Indigo Plateau after winning, like you've been playing.

Nothing happens when you lose the battle, though. You stay on that slot-and could even activate Hau by discarding an Item Card (I actually never thought of that possibility before, but yeah).

(also, good catch, I gotta elaborate on that on the rulebook)
