- Legend of Acrius
- Luna's Howl
- Not Forgotten
- Mountaintop
- Randy's Throwing Knife
I'll keep this list updated anytime I spot anything!!!I just downloaded and gave some gameplay with your 'Crucible Pinnacles' pack, and I've got to say - I'm loving it. The Mountaintop is quite useful, but I can't give much feedback on it, since I don't have it in D2 (yet) and I've got to testify that the only real Crucible Pinnacle I have is the Recluse (cuz I'm a PvE kind of guy.) But Instead, I'll give feedback on the updates to the OLD(er) guns Delta has released. First up is my baby!
So you do you, and don't let anyone stop you.
The following weapons have been added to the collection wallpaper:
As for Nation of Beasts and Chattering Bone, these guns are quite simple. As a random drop from the Last Wish raid, you can't make a GMod port of them with designated perks, but you can drop the weapons as base guns, and make the argument that the player downloaded a drop with something silly like Dynamic Sway reduction and Derple-tap as a roll. No need to simulate Dragonfly or Outlaw or anything like that.
As for Legend of Acrius, that gun will be something of a challenge, and the audience should be prepared to give Delta the benefits of second or third chances to get the gun right, as Acrius deals quite a lot of damage and has bulky handling characteristics. Its a big [beep]ing shotgun, and has a lot of range, but its choke is quite poor, leading your pellets to go in many directions, but with a long period of time before damage falloff occurs.
Jade Rabbit is another tough bag, and I wouldn't be surprised or disappointed if the initial release appears to be a slower-firing, harder-hitting scout rifle without perks (think about Randy's Throwing Knife). Jade Rabbit (for those who are unfamiliar) is a re-skinned version of the all-time rarest D1 Exotic, Fate of All Fools. Fate of All Fools was a single-copy exotic scout rifle that resembled the "Stranger's Rifle." This Exotic was given by Bungie themselves to only ONE player, who sent them a heart-touching tweet regarding their game and his case of cancer. The gun was later re-skinned as the Jade Rabbit, but the Fate of All Fools remains, having its new furry friend live on as a working memorial to the player who uses the gun. It's exotic perk will be hard for Delta to recreate, as it is triggered by varying combinations of bodyshots and headshots.
To sum up: Good luck, Delta, and eyes up, Guardian.
This solved the problem thanks! :)
I've been taking in these addons for a while and I've got to say that I'm impressed. I truly am. Not only are these addons continuously super high-quality, but there's quite a lot of them! Of course, I have some feedback.
First, I'm going to briefly discuss Thunderlord. For those of you who are somehow unaware, Thunderlord's exotic perk in D1 is entirely reflected here in GMod. As you held the trigger down, the rate of fire and accuracy would both increase. In D2, this got a weird change, and kills with Thunderlord would cause enemy damaging lightning strikes. The strikes could also be caused by consistent damage on a single enemy, and could chain lightning strikes through enemies.
I've only got a single problem with this Thunderlord in GMod - I can't use it! My PC is so crummy and slow that the action of firing the gun actually causes GMod to crash because my computer cannot render the environment/weapon/character/entites, run the code for basic firing, run the LUA for the rate of fire increase, AND perform a hit scan/registration. I simply cannot shoot the gun without crashing GMod.
As for the other weapons, I have yet to try out Prometheus Lens, but D.A.R.C.I. is pretty cool. The ability to display GMod critical info within the scope of a gun that can delet someone from 1000+ meters away? Before Delta did it, I thought that the GMod engine couldn't perform such an action.
If there's one thing I've learned from Delta's addons - its that some clever coding and hard work can replicate even the most complicated of scripts. I never thought that GMod could script a gun that fires hitscan nanites that trigger a damage-over-time effect. I never thought that GMod could make Ace of Spades or Last Word look so damn good - and I'm not on some 4k monitor, either!!
And still, we have no idea what else Delta has in store for later! However, there are still some clues that we've spotted! Here's the ones we know:
Thanks
