Please be very descriptive with your post (where it occurred, what was happening at the time of the occurrence), and post your launch.log file or else I won't be able to help you.

Saying my game is broken because of this mod is not descriptive.

So when I tried to start a new game with this mod, the entire Gatecrasher squad failed to spawn and I instantly got a game over as a result.

Edit: I have the Core Mod installed and active, it seems to work fine when I disable this one so far.

The new protect the device mission doesn't work in Skirmish mode.

Text string error no can read! An error in the text of the task line cannot be completed, it is not clear what to do especially in the end after the evacuation is completed, but the mission failed because the additional task is not clear.

Pod size increasing mods still take effect on the protect the device missions, so it's possible to receive 15+ aliens that spawn in the first wave, and another wave also spawns. It's a bit bad in early game when this mission is considered "easy". Maybe you could override any other pod spawning sizes for that mission so it doesn't get hilariously broken?

Something is going horribly wrong with the Protect the device mission, instead of the number of units being capped at 5, I am getting two new pods of reenforcements every round.

Protect the Device mission had the text for the new version but nothing else and ended after i cleared out the last pod as per a vanilla one, they were also engaging it from the start and i had spawned where i would have expected to in a normal one.

I've tested it in Skirmish mode 10 times and it seemed to load and work just fine.

I'll think of something. Otherwise I'll try to find a way to remove PtD from spawning in the first few months.

First protect the device mission, had a sitrep attached but the sitreps were all blank. Was in a debug save, so could see an enemy preview count... of 0. When the reinforcement timer hit, just constantly looped the animation of dropping more flares

On the protect the device mission I held out long enough for the transmission to complete and the message came up indicating it had completed but on the very next turn the Advent forces destroyed the relay and then the mission indication changed from success to failure.

As I mentioned in the comments section, I'm not getting the TurretFall SITREP, despite having a fully upgraded defense matrix.

Thank you for this mod. Some issues I've run into that I'm not certain are caused by the mod, but wanted to report just in case:

* In rescue captured soldier (is that modded by this?) I could not unlock the prison door with the rookie, only another soldier for some reason. Also I could call evac manually, but when prison door unlocked, evac was moved to another location and I could not call it again ("on cooldown").
* In protect data tap, not sure if intended, but even after data tap is protected for the full timer, advent continued trying to destroy it (may be by design)
* Another mission to hack a chest, the green star indicators only appeared for some soldiers, not others, so only some could hack the chest

@Silvicon I think the bug where your evac gets changed if you call it manually during a prisoner breakout is a vanilla bug
For me it seems like the protect the device mission crashes at the end of the last turn.
AI does their actions and then the moment that the last advent/ork(aka lost) have moved it crashes for me.
One thing worth noting is that on this mission, I had both lost(orks) and Dark Eldar invasion sitreps triggered.

Hey there,
I keep getting a redscreen crash during a protect the device mission, The time ticks down for the initial wave and two advent pods drop down and then hangs for a few seconds [imgur.com] before crashing right before the enemy turn.

The crash log [paste.ee] outputs : Warning: Redscreen: X2SitRepTemplateManager::FindSitRepTemplate(): Unable to find a template with DataName: CounterOps which appears to be an extra Sitrep located in the XcomGameData.ini

I'm using AML and the only conflict it sees is from something unrelated (X2Action_MoveClimb), I'm a couple hours into this campaign but I think this is the first PTD mission. I've tried some rudimentary trouble shooting : verifying game through steam, deleting and reinstalling this mod and even trying to comment out the extra sit-rep through the launcher .ini edits and I have had no luck so far. I should mention when I tried these things out, I was loading the same save one turn before the crash.

...I have a lot of mods (303)[pastebin.com] and I couldn't ask someone to dig through them to help look for conflicts but if you have any advice where to start or how I can try to fix it, I would greatly appreciate it.

Just started the final mission, the lag was noticeable immediately, so I checked the log to see what was going on.

Warning: Redscreen: X2SitRepTemplateManager::FindSitRepTemplate(): Unable to find a template with DataName: CounterOps

825 occurrences between the mission loading and 3 movement actions. Seems the game really wants that template, lol. I haven't made any mod changes and this is the first time I have seen this error. Seems odd that since it is the last mission, but I guess it is all part of mod voodoo magic. (edit: the last mission is defined as "ProtectDevice" so it does make sense the game is calling for this)

I am going to keep looking into what seems to be causing this. It hasn't crashed the game for me yet, but the lag it's causing makes it unplayable.
