Sorry for not responding earlier, Steam apparently does not send notifications about new discussions by default.

I'm not sure if it's still relevant, but there are a few things that came to my mind, so I'll list them.

1) A message should appear in the chatbox indicating that you can use the command whenever you host a game or join one that has RTD installed. This does not happen if the feature is turned off in the settings menu, if the addon is disabled, or if it's not installed properly.

2) Check if the addon's settings menu is available, which is found at the spawn menu (Q), inside "Utilities/Roll the Dice". If it's not, then the addon is either disabled or is not installed properly.

3) If the menu is available, check if the RTD command is enabled. If it's already enabled, try changing the command that triggers rolls.

4) If the addon is enabled, the settings are correct, and it's still not working, then the only thing I can think of is an incompatibility with another addon. Rolls are triggered by "listening" to when players enter something to the chat, so see if there's an addon that may be interfering with the chat system.

It only works in multiplayer? what about singleplayer?

It should also work the same way in singleplayer :)
