Last update around early November added a lot of starting forces which included a lot of Munnificents and Provences for the CIS and a lot of Arquintions and Venators for the Republic but anyway my advice is either to form a death star of your own with all of your starting forces plus some other units or in this cause you can simply take advantage that the AI decided to throw everything at one of your worlds and use this opertunity to attack some of there core starting worlds which shouldn't have much defending it besides a station.

My sugestion? Build lots, lots and lots of corvets and fighters. They will help you, belive me.
