Review, Suggestions, and Questions
I've been on the workshop for quite some time now, and I have to say of all the RP Spaceship maps, this one has piqued my interest more than any of them. the lighting and props do well for the atmosphere, and interacting with the engine, reactor, pool club and ventilation are quite entertaining. I was actually kinda impressed with the Club Mode doubling as a pool. the Medical Room is also a unique addition. something not too often seen on the workshop.

However, there are a few things that could be potentially improved upon. for starters, many of the rooms are bare of any furniture or objects. And while I get the feeling that this is probably a passenger ship, the many rooms short of the engine, command, pool and med room, are quite bare, bland, and clone-like. the hyperspace travel was okay, but I feel like more could be done with this somehow.

And I get it, you can't make every room unique. but I feel like adding some more furniture and possibly interactive objects could improve this map.

Speaking of improvements, Ai nodes are something that most ships of this caliber, don't seem to do very often (though I am not sure why). I would love to see nodes on a map like this as they would increase the overall useage. I should also mention that adding either a kill box on the lower ground of outer space or decreased gravity would assist with immersion and I'd like to see at least one of these in the near future.

Finally, how exactly does one open the doors to the main reactor normally? I can open them cause I have an advanced tool addon, but surely there's another way to open these that I haven't found.

The rooms lack furniture on purpose. The point is that anyone can decorate any room in any way they wish. Most RP maps work on this "doll house" principle, and that's what I went with here. As for the nodes, I wasn't able to add them because any attempt to generate a nav mesh just crashed Gmod hard. Also, the way to open the reactor security doors is to turn the maintenance mode on and then damage the button while it's down. This causes the core security doors to "error" and gives you a direct line of sight from the tubes into the core.

thanks. great map. Although, isn't navmesh and ai nodes 2 completely different things?
Oh yeah if you want AI nodes on the map you can use a nodegraph editor mod to add nodes yourself. Noding it is easy however converting the .txt file into a .ain file is pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ hard. But hell if you succeed you can also try to publish your node edit so people can have a noded Chromeliner without noding it themselves.

(And what i mean by .txt file is when you save your nodegraph edit it makes a .txt file and you gotta convert it into a .ain file and put it in the graphs file.)

sounds cool, but I don't feel that strongly about said stage

Is there any chance of creating a version designed for Trouble in Terrorist Town? as this is an amazing map and i feel it would work great with some traitor only areas ect ect

I tried to add AI nodes with the nodegraph tool myself, but it failed to load when I moved the AIN file to graphs. The tool does work when I node other maps, but this one doesn't seem to work at all, is there any fix?

Would adding a build area, maybe by using a transporter from the ship to planet surface be something you could add? I would consider using this as our main map if it also had a build area with grass/water.

Also as an optional extra, maybe an admin area? Thanks for the great work koopa!

all i really want to a prop verson of the ship (big and small) so that if i want to make a astroid belt moment, i can make it myself. i would also like a second skin with it like destroyed and in peices.

the map is good but can we add a planet but we can land on it and use the landing gear.

and we can use the hangar door to make a exit way to surface planet
