I'm not sure this is a bug, but...
I unsubscribed from the old version and subscribed to this one, applying it to an existing game. When the game loaded, Theme Mixer 2 over-rode the map theme already selected for the game and applied the CO theme for the environment (Temperate). I didn't know off hand what theme had been assigned, so I exited the game and restarted. I identified the map theme applied to the game I was using and reloaded the game. Then I just had to reassign the original map theme in Theme Mixer 2.
Is there a way Theme Mixer can default to the map theme already selected for the game when Theme Mixer 2 is first used?

Error on Save

When I tried to save my first mix, I received the following error.

Note: The error window wasn't quite large enough to collect it in one screenshot, so I had to take two to get the bottom line or two.

Screenshot 2[www.dropbox.com]

I would have included the output.log file, but I don't know where it's located in my directory (mac os).
Edit: Added bottom note about output log file.

I exited the game (to desktop) and when I open Cities Skylines again, I got this message immediately: Click Here[www.dropbox.com]

I'm going to unsubscribe for now.

Ugh. I get the error now even without this mod subscribed. Any thoughts? I'm afraid to play the game while getting this error upon load. Can I just clear it and continue to load a saved game?

Edit: Added last paragraph.

This is so frustrating. I noticed that the game loading error referenced the Single Track AI mod, so I notified that author of the error and unsubscribed from that mod. The error persists on every load. I even rebooted the computer...no luck. I then validated the game files...no luck. Please help. I play this game extensively each day. I'm not sure if I can ignore these errors and play without consequences. Thank you.

LOL....no problem. I just took a deep breath and it's all good. Sorry to "panic." I'm disabled and Cities Skylines is a big part of my day. Drive safely. I'll be patient.

Good Idea! I'll add this in next update.
I've also found that when I first load a saved game the exposure is darker than normal. I have to go into Theme Mixer atmosphere and simply click reset on the exposure option. It instantly resets to the correct exposure. The setting (number) doesn't change at all. It's like when the old tv's didn't appear right, so you bang the side to fix the problem. LOL
Side note: Please don't think I'm pestering you about these things. I'm just trying to help and report what I've found. Honestly, this mod is a huge improvement over the old one. I'm having fun with it.

It's all good man ;)
Fortunately, the game I was playing when I first switched to this version of Theme Mixer was very, very new. (Just some cosmetic changes before I started to even lay roads.) Anyway...I noticed that during the save of the game, the packaging time was considerably longer. I decided with everything I had experienced so far, I'd just start a new game.

I discovered that in a new game, the map theme selected for the game is actually set in the Theme Mixer mod. This was not the case when I applied this mod to an existing game. I had to reselect the map theme within the Theme Mixer mod.

The exposure was still a problem and is darken than it should be until you hit reset on the atmosphere exposure option.

The game, for some reason, still take much, much, much longer to save during the "packaging" phase of the save process. I thought that was very odd, but it's happening. I don't know enough about all that involved, so....there ya go.

Well the first time the mod is used it loads the vanilla theme for the environment of the map, but subsequently it will use the last used settings, or a specific mix if one is used in the save, or a mix which where "use as default" was selected.

About the packaging, that seems odd, I will investigate.

Oh...as to the default map theme. It did that to ME, because I had already changed the road theme. Because of that, the actual map theme in the list is nulled out because I made a change (with the road) that made it not really the theme. Basically....it was my fault, not the mod. LOL
Oh...I just read what you wrote more carefully. When I started the new game, Theme Mixer defaulted to the map theme used by the map during its initial load. Are you saying it shouldn't have done that? Hmm.
Terrain editing tools is dosen`t work in the game. fix it please. thanks
