I tested this without addons. Combine soldiers feet don't attach to surfaces with this mod installed. This glitch will happen regardless of weapon, only to soldiers. When giving a pistol to a soldier in default Gmod they t-pose, and when doing this they'll float too. I'm thinking maybe there's certain extra animations that give them their foot property. So if it's possible to fix I'd really appreciate it! That is all.
