FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Hello, fellow humans. There are always many questions to be asked over the sudden release of my Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare weapons pack out of nowhere. I’ll state out some of the frequently asked questions in order not to make myself repeatedly answer it many times.

Does this addon has to do with any existing CoD4 weapon packs made by previous modders?
No, they don’t. This is a totally new Call of Duty 4 weapons pack project solely ported by myself with some help of other friends on scripting. While it’s true that my pack was inspired and drawn references from MacTonight, there are still no connections with his pack which renders obsolete to the current people’s eyes.

Why are you releasing this weapons pack from an old CoD series that was made since 2007? There are already existing addons for CoD4 weapons on Workshop.
I don’t focus on newer games because not only I don’t own any of these currently, there are already many competing modders porting their weapons with improved skills. I only release addons that will offer new features not seen before amongst TFA-supported addons in order to deliver a message that nothing is impossible to achieve the dreams of game scripting and design in sandbox games like Garry’s Mod and modders can learn new revolutionary things that will be useful to port in future.

Why is the gun bobbing scale so intense? How do I fix this?
The gun bobbing being intense while walking or idling is due to the fact TFA devs have decided to buff the scale to make it more intense by default. My pack is using the old values which are much more balanced and non-exaggerating. To fix this, simply go to Utilities -> TFA SWEP Base Settings -> Viewmodel, set to the following values:
- Enables "Use Animated Viewbob" (For enabling weapon's pan camera)
- Enables "Custom Gun Bob"
- Gun bob intensity = 1.00
- Viewmodel Offset X, Y, Z, FOV = 0.00

So, what are the new features as you speak?
It allows auto-reloading feature which 95% of the Gmod addons don’t provide after empty clip, provides all hidden camouflages and attachments never seen before in-game, fixed its gun models and bug animations previously left ignored at CoD4.

Why don’t you make all attachments together? Why separate them?
Unfortunately, CoD4 weapons were never designed to have separate attachment models as each attachment are merged with the gun base together. This include its viewmodel animations. It would cause huge bug if I were to separate these meshes to have more than one attachment being played.

But M4A1 at campaign mode has both Holographic sight and M203!
Like I said before, attachments like holographic sight and M203 are not separate entities but a merged mesh model with M4A1. Furthermore, it would be unfair if even I had the capacity to make two attachments in some guns while others like M16A4, MP5, and M21 are physically impossible to have more attachments. Therefore, the best is to stick with original gameplay where only one attachment is allowed. That said, M4A1 laser sight is the only attachment where it can be chosen independently since it’s a shared model with different sight attachments.
