The Hitch should be some sort of alternate robots because their unknown inventor could've fixed those who failed to escape at some certain price.....
.-. Now if only I could lend you my spare factory............................. or a paper..... but then everything would crash
Origins:
They escaped from other timeline where no one defeted the ruin
Real origins:
The Glitch never happened in their timeline
Their Creator(C) made them just as an experiment. Experiment went on and with time they became more technologically advanced than any other race in short time and there were no way for them to stop that evolution so the C shut them down when he had all data he wanted.
But one of C's co-worker(CW) saw them not as robots or experiment but as inteligent, living, self aware creatures. CW activated some of them for a moment and he was right. They were sentient beings with individual ideas and even emotions. After some time when C stopped caring about them so CW stole few of them and relocated them to nearby system. He did it couple of times and they created small community in said system. After some time their community was discovered and studied but this time noone could deactivate them because this was no longer feature in their code.
You can say that The Glitch happened when they were reactivated but really they stopped advancing because they didn't need to anymore. There was noone forcing them to. Then all they wanted was to "be free from others' will"
(I think that I can't give better translation of my notes rn)
What do you think?
where should i place them in lore tab?
You know that lore tab on right edge of the screen?
The place where you can read every book etc you have found
I don't know how and if it is even posible to make custom tab here so I tagged all my lore documents in Glitch tab (at least temporarily)
All lore documents/books/papers will be avilable for read in glitch tab in the codex after being found
...unless there is some beginner friendly way to make custom tab there (modiing wiki says it is imposible but Elithian Races have tabs for it's races somehow)
Or mods in general?
then in this folder you make some subfolders i subfolders
In my mod it goes e.g. like that:
Hitch\items\active\weapons\melee\broadsword
there you make youritemname.activeitem file where are all stats and descriptions for the item
and youritemname.png which is sprite for the item
Next u launch starbound from steam and choose "launch mod uploader" where u fill all blanks and it will make .metadata file for u
Voilà! Your mod is ready!
(if u want real guide with details there are a lot of them on starbound wiki)
Can I get an F in the chat
