It is been almost a month since the issue was first reported and a relatively simple fix was proposed. There has been an issue of slow fixes and updates for this mod for sometime, which is made worse by the Update model in effect for Oxygen Not Included.
Basically, the mod will have to be fixed and updated every three months. So, if the mod author takes 2 months to fix the mod, the mod will only be up and running for latest version only 4 months of the entire year!
The last update was implemented using a fix from someone else. This time, despite someone else providing the fix, the mod has not been fixed.
" It is understandable, as mod authors don't get paid. However, as a user, I need to know if support for some piece of software has ended, paid or otherwise.
The complaint against Frostbite mechanic in the mod has been there for sometime. The game is simply not suited for such a mechanic. The devs did not have frostbite in mind. No feature updates like a configuration option have happened in a long time.
I thank the mod author for all they have done with this mod. However, I will like to know if they have moved on.
