Custom crafting when?
I wish this had customizable crafting recipes for items. For example, you could go into the config in the inventory under a tab called something around "Custom", where you could put weapons/entities into a list where you could specify where they could be crafted from and what materials they would cost, and how many of the desired item would spawn.

As an example, someone could set a HL2 Medkit to be crafted with 10 Medical Supplies and 10 Plastic, and set it to spawn 2 medkits upon successful craft. I personally feel like this could make the mod feel way better to use with friends, alone, or on large servers. This way, server admins could configure the costs of what items can be crafted, what CAN be crafted, and how many of said item will spawn.

Jmod have half life addon on workshop, also you can configure Jmod config.txt
Yeah, im mainly just asking an easier way than going into a config text document and manually writing in there yourself. Plus the HL2 Medkit was just an example, not what I was specifically asking for.
no way to do it, but just open config by notepad and save it every time, then put command Jmod_config reload or something like that in game console but remember about familiar command which will clear all your work (reset config or smth like that)

Yeah. Isn't this an open source project or something? Couldn't someone add a menu to the config to show all craftable items and where they are crafted, and furthermore let users easily put things in there like entities? Plus, I can't figure out how to summon more than one item from the workbench. I tried adding Arctic's Combat Stims to a crafting recipe and it worked, but I can't figure out the method on how to make it summon more than one syringe, so it becomes a monumental waste of gas and power at the workbench.
unfortunately, the people who could do this have already died or no longer play the game, but you can contact the project administrators on whose servers this opportunity was available
I feel like that is simply not the truth, as I have seen things that I have not seen before being added to this in somewhat recent times. Besides, I don't use Discord either, so I can't check servers. Plus for a game like GMod, there is no way that an addon that has this many extra-addons (such as the previous HL2 one you mentioned) would be abandoned.

Im currently making an addon to add some of the crafts in config for different addons like ArcCW weapons, Simfphys cars and default tools/entities. So even though there won't be custom crafts menu any soon at least i'll make an addon to add the missing crafting recipes. :health:
