Is it good for the campaign mode? What are the main differences compared to vanilla?

The author of the mod lists the changes/improvements he has made in the description for the mod on the main page, take a look.

I enjoy the mod since it makes infantry a lot more effective given the reduced vision of armored vehicles.

The campaign is playable with the mod but as it was NOT supposed to be compatible, as Red Storm was conceived for MP and maybe for Skirmish. Bugs could appear due to some things being modified (which are overlapsing from units in MP) and some other not working, potentially crashing the game. I prefer to be clear on that point as I don't intend to tweak every possible bug with the campaign. That was and will never be the point of this mod.
