Hi Chronofanz - I created this Discussion Group for potential ideas on optimizing the GUI and its behaviour. Maybe there comes some valuable input for your mod.

Here is the first contribution.

As is in 1.0.7. : Savegame is loaded / Game is started, EDS only activates itself first time, when calling it with CTRL-D (which is fine for me, short delay before is shows up). )Immediatel after hotkey the EDS policy window is shown. When I now hover over any service building, it shows the blue tooltip. If I click the service building, the policy window is populated and re-arranged. CTRL-D shows / hide the policy window.

I would prefer for myself, that CTRL-D toggels the tooltip activity only. The policy window should not brought up, until a building is clicked. Only once the user clicks to the building, the policy window should be displayed next to the tooltip.

I like to see a separate button "Settings" or icon (like the "gear" symbol) inside the tooltip, which needs to be clicked to open the policy window in detail. For me this would be a bit more of a space saver on the game main screen.

I like to see bigger fonts and the UI is packed and unreadable

Yep, the GUI sucks :). I've put this item on the backlog.

Hi Tim, we'll need to iterate a bit to get the desired behavior. Let me know your thoughts on the latest version, thanks!

Should be more readable now. Let me know if the current version is ok.
