Not working with S+ Propagator
So S+ Propagator breeds eggs from cryopods and creates "S+ eggs". So after I get an egg, I go to the Best Eggs thing, un-cryo the breeders I used in the propagator, and then put the egg in it, however it doesn't show that it has any ancestors, even though those parents were in the propagator and DID conceive that egg. And when you show the ancestor list of everything it says they are all invalid or not in range.

I read somewhere that this mod has to make sure the dinos you use to breed have the same dino id that would appear, so I assume dinos in cryopods in the propagator don't have dino ids? I'm just a little confused and was hoping for a reasonable answer as to why it wont work with propagator babies.

the propagator does not make eggs with ancestry info intact. the dino IDs are missing.
this has been known for a long, long time.

Any chance for a work around patch that would let this mod work with propagator eggs? I was thinking about getting this mod but that's kind of a deal breaker if it doesn't work with S+ propagator eggs.

Actually, looking at how the mod works, it sounds like my request is unreasonable and that there wouldn't be a way to code in a work around to make it work with best egg.

i looked for a way since orion shares his code
but the dino IDs get lost
there is no way to accurately target the ancestors on those eggs :(
