Multiplayer guns
Kind of a review
Jesus Christ.... I am sorry but this mod just absolutely crushes all the other gun mods out there... and trust me, I´ve tried them all.

The sounds of FFS and the lags with it are horrible and its overrated.

Azure´s Modern Weapons is good but there are no reloads and the things sound like toys. You can shoot for ages if your energy supply is sufficient.

Futuristic armory has no reloads aswell and the weapons are still energy based although its a very good mod.

But this one here, this is it.

You dont need a truckload full of different arms from every last era. Just the most popular ones can do it.

Quality over quantity is key here.

The animations and reloads are insanely good! The smoking barrels also add to the overall touch!

The sounds are powerful and combined with the damage the weapons do, they actually mean something.

Also, the way you´ve managed to save the magazine count and the reload mechanics is beyond me. The feature to eject single rounds is amazing and leaves room for, lets say a weapon cleaning system which if not properly maintained, can jam the gun randomly.

The only thing missing now, is a proper way to implement the weapons in the vanilla game. Right from the start, they seem a little op. Maybe with a lvl 3 inventors table one could craft a gunshop and buy the arms for real prices. The ammunition could then be either bought or crafted through another munitions crafting table.

But, these are just my grains of salt here. In my opinion though, this mod belongs right up there next to instant crafting and Frackin Universe. I am shocked that this is not the case.

Cheers and have a nice day!

Oh yeah, I 100% agree with you about vanilla implementation. It'd be nice to have these things balanced, since they aren't really intended for balanced use in-game. The idea for a craftable gunshop seems great, along with the idea for an ammo station.
Overall, Rex has made a masterpiece here - but that's to be expected. All that's missing is to (hopefully) bring things down from an overpowered 10 to a fair, balanced 3.

Glad there are people like me out there. Yeah the damage values are pretty high. I might wanna edit those a bit for personal use, seems doable.

The FFS dev is a self-entitled ♥♥♥♥ with a god complex. Just putting it out there.
