Bugs
New Ship spawn might be stuck in shallow water. Need to fix this.

upon using DestroyTribeStructuresid 18 it crashes the server i have it on their is no way to rid them except full server wipe

Things I found while playing in my blackwoods server:
1. Pirates spawn without armor equipped.
(EDIT: please disregard. i was overriding their inventory component through ini.)

2. Pirate camps spawn waaaaay too close to eachother.

3. The destroy command crashes my server.

I had this mod working, and there's a ton of pirates camps and ships which were crazy but fun!

I'm running Blackwood.

The problems I have with it are as follows:

1.) The Puckle guns are insane, and made it impossible to do anything against the pirate bases, so I used the cheat command:
cheat destroyall StructureCannonPuckle_BP_C

This removed all of the Puckle gun turrets from the map, and since I didn't own any I didn't have to worry about it!
After messing around with anything I could think of, this was the only way to deal with removing them I could find...

2.) Like others stated, if you use the following command to remove the structures, IT WILL CRASH YOUR SERVER!!!:
cheat DestroyTribeIdStructures 18
***** EDIT: Doesn't crash the server, just makes it hang for a very long time while it removes them. Wait it out and it will all be fine. As I stated in another post below, it takes about 31 mins, then will say you left the region and let you back in!!! *****

3.) I tried to remove the mod and it wouldn't remove the camps, so I ended up restoring the previous evenings backup, and that's then I figured out how to just deal with the mod and remove the stupid Puckle guns.

4.) A lot of turrets will show no pirate controlling them, but the gun will be "Manned" and they will still shoot you... Happens mostly with the Puckle and the Swivel guns. Removing the Puckle made it at least doable to get in there closer and grenade the swivel guns after wiping out the on foot pirates, and was AWESOME!!!

5.) After wiping out a bunch of pirates and some of their base, we were done for the night and I went to install the Better Tools mod, so we could have a siege hammer (called a WeaponRam or something, and can see it in the picture on that mods page). After shutting the server down, tossing the Better Tools mod on, and starting the server back up, I ran into the same issue I had before where the server TAKES FOREVER to load, and when it's looking like it's back up, you can see it listed in Steams View > Servers, but the not in the game!!! I'm not 100% sure it's this mod doing this, but I'm pretty sure it is because other's have said there was a large memory consumption and the pirates somehow get outa control on the server... Problem is, you can't remove the mod worth a damn once it's on there...

6.) Travelling to the first island north and a little west, on a raft, I got chased by a giant whale or something freakin scary, but then when i got to the island, there were about 40 small pirate ships all along the it, so I eventually just went through them as fast as I could. I made it past, but barely. They started unloading on me when I was really close to shore then stopped when I jumped off the raft. So I think the ships that spawn (1 for ever pirate base on the map I think???), all spawned in that one location or something. When I made a raft and sailed to the middle south island to look for some gems, there were no pirate ships at all. So that's what makes me think they all spawn and clump together in one place on the map. But I could be wrong...

Honestly, if this mod had the puckle runs removed from the pirate bases, and didn't screw up the server when you tried to remove it, it would be AWESOME!!! Strategically battling with these pirate camps (without puckles) was so fun, that without it I don't know if Atlas would be any fun for me! I really need this mod to work!!!

I'm still messing with it...

Hopefully someone else can shed some light on server problems and how they fixed theirs if they had similar issues???

I know I'm pretty much talking to myself in here, but I figured maybe it will help someone down the road.

To get my server to work again, I ended up shutting down the server and the redis database etc..., and removed the mod from my servers mod list (Doing this alone doesn't help!), then deleted the Pirate mods folder "1934207545" and it's "1934207545.mod" file from the ...ShooterGame\Content\Mods\

I then also removed the "1934207545" folder from the ...\Engine\Binaries\ThirdParty\SteamCMD\Win64\steamapps\workshop\content\834910\

That's where the mods go when they are downloaded to your server from the Workshop, then from there they go to the ShooterGame\Content\Mods folder to be used.

Once the mod was out of the servers mod list, and the files and folders for the mod were removed, I started the server back up and worked.

Most of the pirates buildings are still there unfortunately.

I'm going to see what happens when I put the mod back in there.

I tossed the mod back in and it made no difference...
The buildings are still there like they were when I removed it and no pirates showed up, even after leaving it for about half an hour.

I did the cheat DestroyTribeIdDinos 18 and it said it removed 18 dinos.

I did the cheat DestroyTribeIdStructures 18 and it crashed the server, and boots me out...
The server log just sits there with the AdminCmd: DestroyTribeIdStructures 18 and my player name etc...

I left it this time for awhile and came back, and after 31 mins the server said I left the region.
I logged back in and it worked!!!

Just took forever, and didn't actually crash the server. it just hung there for 31 mins.

I'm not sure if this was a thing or not, but I also changed the server option AutoGenerateIslandSpawnRegions to False.

Figured maybe it was messing with the spawns for the pirates. Maybe this helped and maybe it didn't...

Now there are pirate camps spread out decently far from each other on the Freeport and the one to the upper left from the Freeport. No camps on the south central island though.

I'm not sure if these pirate camps will grow over time or not, but hopefully they do.

I also put the Better Tools mod back on so I could raid the pirate camps AND smash the doors in with Ram Weapon. It doe about 438 damage to doors per swing, so it's great with this pirate mod!!!
