Report a translation problem
My suggestions that would make it more terrifying, would be giving it the ability to jump down from cliffs/ledges, and being able to climb somewhat. The NPC gets stuck a lot, and often can't chase the player when they go down a small ledge or up a small platform. This would make it a bit more tense
The other suggestion is the rock/prop punting. This one's not mandatory either, but would add variety to Gonarch's ranged arsenal.
There is a 3rd stage, where Gonarch's legs are crippled, and mostly remains stationary. It spews acid like a volcano, and spawns baby headcrabs (i assume the headcrabs will be limited in 2nd and this possible 3rd stage.
