Transport Fever 2

Transport Fever 2

Train Sound Mod

Additions and fixes
The linked archive only contains changed and added files to v1.9, so the original files need to be overwritten.
This means the mod should be added manually from https://www.transportfever.net/filebase/index.php?entry/4885-transport-fever-2-sound-mod-1-7 and then overwritten by jayEmanuel_SoundMod_1 (only changed files)[www.dropbox.com].
Of course in this case the Steam mod needs to be uninstalled.

Hmm, not sure if I installed everything correctly. For some reason after doing what you instructed here, my save game keeps crashing because there is a conflict with other train mods.

Mod: British Rail Class 377 (consider removing this mod, etc. Blah blah blah)

Could this be caused by the mod not working with the beta for the Autumn update?

A dumb question, but could the files from both the folders you linked to be pasted over the files in the Steam mod version? I want to see if the 1.9 version fixes my issue with the old freight wagon sounds causing the train's slow or starting speed sound to constantly keep cutting in and out. The passenger wagons don't seem to do this.

Do not use the Steam mod. Use as said.

I only can assume it's the beta update, if it's not a user error.
I'm on a hiatus actually - not beta testing anything - and waiting for the final plus day-one-fix to start again, also hoping that the CommonAPI will be made compatible.
No idea if you're around anymore, but the ICE 1 crashes the game whenever it tries to play audio.

Thank you, I forgot something in there, easy fix.
Done.
