Seeking feedback
Hey guys, I hope you're enjoying the mod! If you like it, please don't forget to give it a thumbs up!

So with this being the first version of the mod, I'm looking for gameplay feedback. Particularly regarding the following aspects:
  • General difficulty.
  • AI civs and city-states' handling of these vicious Barbarians.
  • Related, impairment of AI civ development due to Barbarian harrassment.
  • Frequency of Barbarian raids, as in Recon reporting back to camp and triggering a proper invasion.
  • Barbarian naval activity.
  • Barbarian tech in relation to world tech.

Thanks in advance for your input!

I always felt the game need a more insurgency style combat experience. The truth is, many people fight without formal declarations of war; Yemen, Syria, etc. and in the game this modern warefare is just not accomodated. It would be interesting if you could use this mod to create "proxy forces" whereby nation states can build/use insurgents against other nation states. In CIV4 they had state sponsored terrorism and the terrosit unit - and I am suggesting something similar.

I loved the increased barbarian presence in the early game. However in the mid game and the late game they still fall off. Would it be possible to have barbarian cities in the mid game and 'mega cities' in the late game?

As they have less camps in the mid game and the late game i wouldn't mind seeing the remaining camps they do have become more powerful to compensate. Both pumping out more units and maybe even being more difficult to deal with, being cities that need to be razed rather than camps you just have to move a military unit onto.

Maybe these cities and 'mega cities' even being able to launch raids and sieges without needing to scout player/Ai cities first

I feel like there were way too many barbarians right from the get. I had two camps right on my door at like round 20. This was the second game I played with this mod but I'm gonna have to turn it off for now, just a bit too much early. I loved the different units though. The first game I played it felt like the archers were a bit strong. It seemed like they could shoot over woods and such where I cant. I am playing on diety without the recommended balance patch.

I love this mod! It's awesome watching the world burn with Barbarians. Hopefully it can be working with the new Barbarian Mode :)
