1. Download a few programs (Mainly Blender)
2. Get a model, or make one from scratch.
2a. Decompile it
3. Place every smd_bone (Source bone) to fit where his bones are, which is really hard since tails is small and the default bone structure is structured as a citizen's,
4. Weight paint it, (this bone owns this much of skin etc) this part is scary, as you have to make sure every bit of skin has got some color to it.
5. Build a folder for your gmod playermodel
6. Lots of coding (if you are copying a bone structure out of someone elses addon and just overwriting it)
7. Texture editing
And much more stuff, I worked on my playermodel for ~10 hours before I gave up, I looked at the ragdoll and thought that it wouldnt really look good if I finish it.
Im sorry but it is really hard to make a playermodel, but I bet anyone could be good at it, they just need to keep trying.
Have a go at it. I believe in you
and force my computer to co-operate as i have worked on an animation project of 50 before in 3d. also known as the hell that is source film maker.
