Hi there, I have encountered a bug. Vegetables, that are grown in the world are invisible and if you pick them, you have a blank green box in your inventory, as if the vegetable is invisible, without texture or image. You can interact with it, pickle it, eat it, but you don't know what it is until you do so. This also happens to pig tails and to pig feet. Please fix it. I don't have any lua error, since this doesn't crash the game, it is working as previously, but some things in the world lost their textures and images.

@jantinak We had one other person experience (and report) this happening. They had just recieved a mod update, and the first time they played (without restarting) left it funky. We're not sure why it happened, but restarting fixed the game. We haven't been able to reproduce the problem, so we're not sure how to troubleshoot it further.

Let us know if restarting fixes it for you too.

Hello,

If you mean restarting the game or PC, I tried that and it doesn't work. Or did you mean restarting something else?

Thanks,

Jan

Hi there, weird though. I have tried it again today (restart) and it worked. Right now everything works fine. If it happens again, I will write here.

Thanks,

Jan

Strange. I did mean restarting just the game (fully close it, then reopen). Maybe opening the mods menu triggers a mod update and that's why the first reopening didn't work? This is a tough one to troubleshoot, so random.

Just reporting in so ya know: Doesn't work with the new DLC, crashes the second I picked up a radish.

Hi guys, thanks for the mod. When I try to use it though, the Pickle It button doesn't appear on the Pickle Barrel. I'm using an Xbox controller and a character mod, not sure if that's the problem? I've tried restarting the game to no avail already.

Thanks!

I'm having a curious little graphical problem after the latest update - the mod-added veggies, when grown on farms, appear a little to the side from the leaf cluster they're supposed to spawn in. The problem persists even after a fresh start with all other mods disabled.

I'm having this issue as well, both with Pickle It and my own WIP mod that adds custom veggies to the farms. Methinks something was moved with the latest update that's not playing nicely with our mods...

Bah, I think that'll be a bit of a pain to fix. I'll try to get to it this week if I have time, but more likely it'll have to wait a bit. In the throes of summer, I'm less inclined to work at a computer in my off time.

Having the same issue with the vegetables appearing to the side and the Pickle It button gone. What I noticed was that the said button disappeared once I decided to switch to using an XBox 360 controller and not the KB&M anymore, so that may have something to do with it. Worked fine when no controller was used and can't remember if veggies were displaced in KB&M mode or not. Hope you can find a fix soon. I NEEEEDS my pickles!

It seems many mod characters with restricted diets (e.g. Woad) are not able to eat pickled veggies. I wonder if they don't properly count as vegetables?
Speaking of which, I think pickled foods should be usable as fillers in the crockpot. Their main advantage is durability, but it lowers their effective lifespan if you're not able to "recycle" them with the crockpot like you can with jerky.

I don't know what to do - it always makes some weird pickled mush and it's unedible because it drains sanity :(
