The additional paint engram for the missing one has EXP added to the recipe for some reason and it's a significant amount as well, especially early game..
as far as i know crafting dye in the cooking pot doesn't give exp plus the pot is a lvl 8 engram.

Even for midgame i've noticed entire farms for red/blue berries to just bulk craft the coloring as opposed to leveling on narcotics as it doesn't require waiting for something to spoil..


on a sidenote: i know how to alter engrams, it's even added in one of the pinned messages, however i'm not always host, which is why i figured i'd at least add the suggestion for the EXP removal
(or unlock the color at lvl 50/set the camera to be necessary to unlock dye)
