step 1: navigate to \Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\647960\1968310199\maps
(might not work on apple, Linux, ect)

step 2: pick the map you want to fix, and open the .png in your editor of choice.
(eg: farm lands > farm lands_map.png)

step 3: resize to about half the og size, MAKE SURE TO SAVE OVER ORIGINAL .PNG.

this is a band aid strategy of fixing it, but it works.
