Jewelry - produced by Empire and Bretonnia (and maybe Vampire) Gold resource chain.

Wheat and/or flour - produced by Empire and Bretonnia farm chain.

I feel like Gold gets minted into coin, that's why CA didn't add it in the first place.

I thought about wheat, and that is like the main food export, but all the races in the lore seem self-sufficient as food goes, except maybe dwarfs. I really want to give wheat only to Bretonnia, but the Empire actually has a lot of food and more advanced farming techniques, so don't know if that would make sense. And if I give wheat to both Empire and Bretonnia, I feel I'd have to give it to High Elves as well. I'm just not sure.

And I'd like to avoid resources I'd give to a lot of races, because if both races in the trade agreement have the same resource they don't trade that resource between them.
A line in the Dark Elf industry chain's flavor text suggests that their industrial goods are all meant for war, which gave me the idea that a lot of the more production-oriented factions, like humans, elves, dwarfs and skaven could trade weapons. The skaven definitely have an arms trade among themselves with great clans selling weapons and even troops to others, and they almost certainly sell weapons to anyone willing to buy from them.

For Dark Elves it could be the industry chain, and for the others it could be their forge/armory/technology chains that produces the resource. Then again, with the number of factions being able to produce high-quality weapons, it could be a resource that'd be hard to sell, so maybe the production could be kept relatively low? Like 5-10 units for every fully-upgraded forge chain. Or maybe just limit it to elf, dwarf and skaven factions, since they have access to ithilmar, gromril and crazy warpstone technology respectively, setting them apart from others.

Also, warhorses could be a resource, as well. Historically, good horse breeds sold at a premium, and though they're far from the only cavalry option in the Warhammer world, it'd still be valuable. Bretonnia seems to have access to the good stuff as a rule, but the High Elves also have a landmark related to getting good horses, and both High and Dark Elf pasture chains seem horse-related unlike other races' pasture chains which are often food-related.

And, now that I think of it, the general tone of the Markus Wulfhart campaign suggests that they're there to plunder artifacts. So ancient artifacts could be a trade goods human factions like Wulfhart and Repanse could gain from landmarks/special settlement chains in Lustria and the Southlands. And maybe the Vampire Coast as well, since Harkon seems like he'd be interested in that. Maybe Norsca as well, since plunder seems to be a big deal to them.

Thanks, I really like those suggestions.

I know for sure Dwarfs would never sell things forged from Gromril, even owning such an item as a non-Dwarf is a big no-no as Dwarfs are concerned. Ithilmar is also exceedingly rare, don't see the Elves really trading it. I also see Skaven weapons as being really crappy, and the warpstone artifacts as being very rare.

It'd be nice if the game allowed me to tune this, like only sell warpstone and warpstone artifacts to other Skaven, slaves to evil races, and so on, but it doesn't.

I like the idea of a there being a high-quality weapons/armor resource, and giving it to HE, DE, Empire and Dwarf buildings.

The horses are a nice idea, it's hilarious how elven pastures have the icon of a horse, but the highest building in the chain is called a cattle ranch.

Lizardmen looted artifacts are also a great suggestion.
Oh, I agree that gromril and ithilmar would never be sold, I mentioned those as the things that set dwarfs and elves apart in their abilities with craftsmanship. As for the skaven, I'd generally thought of them less as high-quality craftsmen, and more as the sole producers of WW1-to-super-science weapons in an otherwise medieval-to-renaissance-era setting, even though it's unreliable at best.

Meanwhile, your addition of the Whispers and Secrets resource for the skaven gave me an idea: Wouldn't High Elves trade political favors? It seems right up their alley with their intrigue mechanic. Their Elven Embassy building could be where it's sourced. And maybe other races could also get the resource, but solely through some of the politically significant landmarks, like the Imperial Palace in Altdorf or the Bokha Palace in Kislev.

I like that idea, thanks.

Skaven artifacts, monsters and technology seems like something that would be in high demand for other races logically, but I get the feeling they're exceedingly rare for other races for flavour, in defiance of logic.
Halfling Pies produced by the Moot's Settlement and available to all factions.

Also shouldn't looted artifacts also be produced anywhere there's a Tomb King pyramid site?

Vampire Could trade Blood between themselves :) and lizardmen can trade Insects and iguanas xD
Olives or Olive Oil from Farming buildings (normally around equilateral) settlements so it's not exactly lock by faction but by certain number of settlements. Can follow the same logic as pastures where it replaces the farm building if we want to add more control

Vampires (coast and courts) would sell Dark Promises and/or Hints of immortality. The Coast would sell Fragments of Treasure Maps out of ports, and the Courts would sell Finery like Court Revelry or Noble Garments or something?

I wish that chaos could trade Icons of Madness. That just sounds cool
add someone for vampire count, please. Like dark artifacts from reliquary and necromantic forbidden knowledge from necromantic tower
hi dude,
Do you agree to add medicinal herbs to the apothecary's buildings for the Brettonians?
I don't understand why the dark elves, the lizard men and the skaven get exotic animals with their monster production buildings but not the high elves with their dragon's buildings -_-. i love your work.

SFO already adds medicinal herbs to the apothecary building, I'll check if there is a good way to make this compatible without a separate submod.
