Honor Leaders - Ideas, Feedback, and Balance
This is the place to give me new ideas and feedback, as well as discuss balancing for the mod.

Future Features:
Timeline of Accomplishments - Year-Event , eg. 2200-Ruled when the hyper drive was first discovered
Historical leader accomplishments - discovery of fire, unification wars, etc
Refining achievement bonuses
Integration as sub-mod of ST:NH

My leader of an agrarian idyll had an unusual mandate, to "increase urban districts". However, the description the mod provided ignored her mandate and simply mentioned she liked tyhe agrarian stuff.Maybe include mandates in the leader color text?
Status: Might be feasible, mandates could go into a democratic section and also be tracked, once vanilla overwrites are permitted.

Where exactly is the leader page and does it show up for AI empires? And is it able to be viewed in observer mode.
Status: The leader page is shown on leader death and through edicts, so I'm not sure if they will show up for an observer. AI have the tracking variables, but the death event and honoring will not show up for them. If it is possible for leader -> alien leader interaction, might do something, like 2 undefeated admirals fighting against each other, then one losing but they escape. Might not be possible though.

Can we only honor dead leaders?
Status: Good question, that depends on the theme the mod should go with. I was originally thinking the populace would only care about leaders after death (to the extent of renaming planets and memorialization), but I could also include some living leader bonus/ renaming. For example, if a scientist is known for discovering new systems, a planet or asteroid could be named after him on entering a new system. Authoritarian or Spiritualist empires could also decide to make an example of a particularly infamous leader with negative traits, such as a corrupt substance abuser governor, and gain a bonus from removing him.

Does the AI also use this to get the buffs, or is it only for human players?
Status:I believe that it is currently setup to only be available to human players. I haven't delved into how AI works in Stellaris, however, so that may be looked at in the future.

If you add commemorative monuments as buildings that give unity I'll love you long time. I want to create the Soviet Union of Space, make my first leader Joseph Stalin II, and after his death put monuments on every planet while desperately trying to distance my policies from his legacy. A communist wet dream.
Status: Added with Leader Memorials.

I've had this mod in my sights for a while but it has always lacked what I've always wanted: The ability to honour my Emperor/Empress with a statue building (not a building building but like a planet feature that gives some unity or other bonus related to what the leader was focused on).
Obviously I have no idea how difficult that would be to implement, but I think that would *really* spice things up and I would love it if you were able to do it c:

In any event, thanks for the great work!

the greatest idea in a long time! Cheers! The same thing for individual ships would be even more interesting. especially for ST:NH!
