Immortal with an Addiction

i have one prisoner immortal, with an alcohol addiction. now, this wouldn't be interesting, HOWEVER, she stays at a permanent 100% withdrawal. the hediff doesnt go away, and i've even dev-mode removed the hediff. it somehow always finds its way back.

anyone have an explanation?
