Immortals+rim of magic
had a lich pawn and when he came back he had lost the ability to gain more skill points and when trying to save it just gave errors.

Try to recreate, I couldn't get it to cause save issues again and reloading resolved the rest of the issues.

I've just noticed this myself. It seems Rimworld of Magic and Immortals don't play well with each other. My Immortal Enchanter died, and after he came back to life, he couldn't use any of his spells, couldn't gain any more XP, but he still had a Magic tab.
