Can't Learn Engrams
So my friend is hosting a server for us and we have tried s+ and ss but when ever they get installed we can see them on the engram list but we cannot learn them... HELP!!!

EDIT: 3.) YOU CAN'T LEARN AN ENGRAM - you use a mod that remaps the vanilla item (ie EC), you need to remove the engram prerequisites by adding an engram override to your game.ini file.

New question, How do I add an engram override to my game.ini file? I play games I don't understand how they work...

Do NOT try to run multiple forks of S+ at the same time.

we only have 1 running, currently it is SS, we thought that maybe s+ was not working anymore so we swapped mods... unless thats not what you mean, in which case what do you mean by multiple forks?

Well as per the mod description SS is a fork of the classic S+.

So SS, and Current S+ are both "forks" of classic S+. Given the amount of overlap between the two its known to cause conflicts.

But given you completely swapped between the two, you should be fine.
See the pinned bug threads for some FAQ stuff to try.

The other thing is... Have you learned the prerequisites?

yes we have, we double click or click learn and it flashes but doesn't light up nor give us the engram

Just to clarify... This isn't a systemic issue with this mod.
It is working correctly on the vast majority of the servers that it is on.

So the issue is likely a localised one and is potentially related to mod corruption (clean install needed) or are using a non-stackable conflicting mod.

well, we fresh installed like 6 times even trying other s+ type mods and the only other one we had was awesome spyglass, which when we called the server quits we played on another friend's server with the same 2 mods installed... so i dont know what to tell you and i certainly dont care to try as it has been several months since we cared, thank you for the suggestions though.
