The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Become a Bard
It would be nice
if you could walk (but not run) while playing an instrument. I currently set my preferred instrument to voice so I can pla the songs while walking the roads but without the animation of playing the instrument heard it feels a little off...

When I first played as a Bard with this Mod, my audience would respond with dancing and applause. I still get money & a room & my performance is logged in my Bard journal. The Jarls, Mavis Blackbriar & the Dawnstar female Jarl do not recognize my quest to perform for them. I go back & get a different assighnment but he keeps giving me the same 2 Jarls that don't respond. I still love doing the songs though.

The jarls are much too dignified to dance and such. They were excepted from the dancing on purpose. I thought it would be out of character.

I agree the Jarl's are to be entertained & too dignified to dance, I actually was referring to the Inn and random NPC;s no longer dance, clap or applause during or after a performance. I can't find a mod that would affect the Bard mod. I am wondering if the load order may make a difference.

A number of other people have reported that, but I don't know the cause. I'm no longer playing Skyrim or developing the mod, but back when I did, it never happened to me. That is unfortunate, because it means I have no clues as to why it is occurring for some people. It is most likely a mod conflict, but I can't say that for certain because I have never experienced it and troubleshot it myself. But the fact that it always works for most people, but mysteriously stops working for others, points in that direction.
