Become a Bard

NPCs don't react. Does anyone know why?
Everything is working great, love this mod, except the NPCs have zero reaction, even coming up to me and to say stuff while performing. I've brought my bard level to 50 and still nothing. Has anyone encountered this problem?

I have this same problem. I don't think this Mod is supported by it's creator anymore. Any experts out there that can help?

If you have SkyUI you can go to the mod configuration menu in the game and check to see if it's been turned off for whatever reason. If it has, all you have to do is turn it back on.

If you're sure you have both SkyUI and this mod installed, then the only answer I can think of is some kind of mod conflict. Are you using a modding tool? Or are you just throwing everything into your Data directory? If the former, than use your modding tool to mess around with your load order and check for conflicts.

If the later, I strongly recommend getting a modding tool, and the best by far is, in my opinion, Mod Organizer. You can download it from the Nexus here:

MO has a pretty steep learning curve, but it's a powerful utility that can keep your modded game stable and help you resolve problems like this. You can even use Mod Organizer to manage your Steam Workshop mods. If you aren't already using it, I strongly recommend it.

you can install a mod called Lively inns and taverns, it makes it so that when music is being played, the people in the Inn/Tavern dance, and it adds more NPCs to the tavern, along with making people talk in the tavern without you talking to them first.. Just a sugestion. (I reccomend the less version which makes less NPCs appear in the tavern, but some are still added.) It also makes it to where when they dance, they don't talk.

I'm also dealing with this issue, I have skyui and all that jazz, and my mods (not including the three dlc I have) are this one, and the three sound mods civilization, dungeons, and wilds (I believe they're called). the mod configuration menu and all shows up fine in game, I can toggle stuff, but npc's don't react, followers don't play with me (even when i give them all three intruments).
