To be fair I just made this post to get off on peoples anger at me.
I'm like, 90 percent erect right now

Removing this mod from a save is actually possible.
1)Open up the save file. It's in xml, so you can edit it.
2) Remove any parts mod added. (do this by editing the save file xml)
3)Add necessary parts this mod took away. (do this by editing the save file xml)
4) Remove Empire mod from load order.
5) You're done

You'll most likely have to skim through it for now, unfortunately. I haven't noticed any tags, outside of specific events. If you can, report back any potential tags if you manage to find on them so that the process can be written out more easily.

Remove all of your colony settlements manually in-game then

You have to remove <FactionFC> from the save file
