Trader?

This might Be really Stupid. But i noticed that you can create Trader caravans from military units.
How does this work? like how do i call them in? or how does the system work?

Same here, though based on the most recent overview video, I don't think they do anything...

If anyone knows I would really like to know how to do this..... you can't seam to send them anywhere but onto a map you are already on.... and then they don't seam to bring anything.
