Militairy

My militairy died but the 'Select deployment squad menu doesn't leave. I tried cremating all the corpses and restart the game but that also doesn't work. I can't see the messages that are behind the menu and it's really starting to get to me. does someone know what i cant do?

I have had this problem and the only fix I found is go into dev mode for a second, click open debug actions menu, then under Empire click Reset Military Squads. It will remove the deployment box. Just to make sure nothing breaks, wait for the squad refresh even to be done before deploying again.
