It is possible that it has a compatibility issue since it hasn't been upadated since a year now, which faction are you playing ?

I was playing Hafsid Sultanate (not declared empire yet if that changes anything)

Weird, it works well for me but fourth majlis al shura for hafsids there is no text in between choices there is only choices then the consequences on the next turn

it's the same for me, no text but the effect shows up in the top right hand side the next turn... except the it seems the effects don't work, I've chosen dar ul islam becasue I roughly rememembered the benefits but when I load the save with or without lex reformata my research speed is the same (when it should be +20% with the effect of the law)
or did I ♥♥♥♥ up my save by loading it without lex reformata once?

This is weird, it seems maybe that the updates that happened through the time screwed the mod or maybe you have other submods or maybe the fact that it hasn't been updated since years screw it a little i can't really help out im sorry

yeah there were a couple of updates to several mod parts since. all good no worries. I had a lot of fun with the mod thank you
