S+ Crop plots and item pulling problem
So I'm not using all AA mods and I don't have the farming so I'm using the S+ Crop plots (also the seemless just look stunning!) But my console is constantly pulling all the crops out of them and into its inventory. I can't exclude the structures because they don't show in the interface for excluding and I also tried to put them in the BlackList in GameUserSettings.ini - no change. Can't rename the cropplots either cus someone mentioned adding a * in front will stop pulling. Anyone an idea or a workaround ? For now I've disabled automatic pulling, but I still need to manually put the crops into a fridge as soon as I manually sort...
Would lowering the range of the console and maybe having 2-3 over the whole base work ? Do they pull from eachother and are smart enough to notice that one of them has the OCD storage in range or will that kill my server ?

So you don't want the console to pull from your S+ crops, why not? I mean, I also use S+ crops and not the AA's even tho I have the farming addon installed, I just never noticed an issue with the console pulling things from the Cops, cause usually what I like to do is go to the Console exclude system > Select All > then write AA in the search bar > and deselect all.
It's easier this way for me cause I know the console will not pull anything from anything that doesn't start with AA. Try it
I like placing an S+ Gardener to pull things from my S+ crop, and rename the Gardener to AA Gardener so that when I do the quick select and deselect I know the console will pull from the gardener.
So gardener pulls from crops and console pulls from gardener, gg ez right

Simple : Because the stuff spoils pretty fast in the console. I have to manually take it out of there and put it into the fridge all the time. I CANT exclude the crop plots because they DONT show in the exclude menu.... Everything else that is S+ shows in there, but no crop plots not even the other S+ sizes. I also have the gardener, harvester and nanny stuff disabled - it's just too OP in my oppinion.
by Fridges you mean normal S+ Fridges, I take it? okay then here's a temporary solution, just hang one of these AA Vaults on top a fridge or close to it, have your veggies registered there so OCD can pull them.
Reason being is because the AA vaults actually prolong spoil time.
I made a post a while back that my Kitchen Addon OCD wasn't working, I was trying to OCD register veggies and berries to AA fridges but they weren't pulling stuff, so I made a metal Vault and registered them there.
EDIT: Marble and Metal vaults increase spoil time but Driftwood doesn't

I hope you find a more permanent solution to this

Test with different vaults cause idk if the wooden vault extends spoil like the metal one..

I guess that is atleast a little bit better, but I'd still love to keep them in the cropplots. But thanks for the tip with the metal vaults. Didn't know they have extended spoil timers on them
Isn't there a function on the AA tool that allows naming of things that don't normally let you name them?
Sorry to necro a thread, but I have this exact question and see no other discussions about it. What did you end up doing to get things in a setup you were happy with?

If I remember correctly I just accepted it would constantly pull the crops and stored it in the vaults.
So this is strange, in case anyone else stumbles across this thread... originally the boundary of the console's pull area crossed through the middle of my greenhouse, through several crop plots. It was pulling crops at that point.

Assuming I would have to accept the behavior, I moved the console so the pull area would cover my entire greenhouse, so not cutting through any plots, entirely inside the boundary, and now it's not pulling crops?

I created an OCS vault specifically for them, but no veggies have been pulled to it or the console. They still don't show up in the list of structures to ignore, but I did a "select all", checked all the boxes, then searched for "AA" unchecked all those boxes.

We'll see if the behavior holds through the next server reboot.
Idk if it got changed, but now the console isn't pulling crops from S+ and that's very annoying for me..

Why would you not want crops pulled, when all you have to do is put down a fridge or vault to have them pulled to? grabbing it all manually is nuts

Now, I have to use alternate item collectors to grab the crops, then let the console sort that.

If you have a problem with crops spoiling in the console, then simple solution is to decrease the "Pull Timer" in the GUS.ini. (provided it's pulled to a fridge. otherwise increase the timer so it doesn't pull) I have mine set to 1 minute. Also, you can decrease overall spoil timer.

Yea, I noticed the fridge/freezer have been acting up lately, not always pulling.
also, the DROP VAULT doesn't shorten spoil time either, sadly.
The console still pulls from Vanilla and S+ crop plots. which is fine on our server as we have the veggy box, with all resources added to OCD List.

However the console dont care, so it just leaves the veggies hanging in the console and spoils every 20 mins..

This issue's been around for a while looks like its console thats the issue and not really the plot types.

not sure if the AA crop plots work better, as iam yet to get to that level.. will add it here, when i have tested the AA plots too.
