You may be happy to learn that I may have possibly fixed your problem. I had to change the whole mod structure from the beginning but it should now work. If not, please contact me again.

ok thanks, i have a few other mods that have a similar issue so ill wait a day or two for everyone to catch up

I'll check on my end to see if this is an issue with my mod or if has to do with a mod compatibility issue, I don't remember my mod doing this so it could very well be another mod causing this, if you do find the mod causing it, be sure to tell me here. Sadly I'm in the middle of moving so I won't be available this month to do anything about it, this could very well extend to the first weeks of next month as well, thank you for reporting it.

Hey for some reason whenever you select an ideology to start with it gives you the default research knowledge. I've tried as New basic tribe with an inactive ideology as a sanguophage (vampire) and it works perfectly fine, with an ideology such as classic or blood worshippers it doesn't work

Alright so I now know what is causing it, but I want it to be an option for people to start with default ideology research or not, so I'll have to make an option menu for it, which requires me to learn a new coding language and use tools that I have not really used before, so I'll have to start on that. Don't know when it'll be finished.

For now I would suggest turning on dev mode and disabling the research that way, while I figure out everything. Not the best way to do things but yeah.
