I prefer to hit very hard sites with attrition tactics and Well Supplied makes that impossible.
I assume Well Supplied was added for multiplayer balance?
Might I suggest a version without Well Supplied for single player? If you cheese in single player, you are only cheesing yourself.
You have a balance change:
Landmarks giving Cosmite income and Cosmite reward
You have a different balance change:
Well supplied for Landmark units
And you will eventually have Bonus units:
You'll possibly get people wanting just 1 aspect of the mod and not the others because of the variety of changes. People who want new units might like the current landmark but just want the additional units and not the balance changes.
Except, not everyone cheeses the game like this. I know I don't. So, anyone who doesn't use that one particular method to defeat a site with no losses is punished now.
For instance. The first time I tried this mod, I came across a silver site and decide I would try out the fight. I lost all of my units in the battle but managed to kill 4 of the site's units. (My army strength was stronger than the site's, I'm definitely not the best tactical player) Only to be doubly punished by the balance change, because now I had lost units, and the site had not.
This is the type of situation I'm trying to point out. Where my legit game play was punished because of a "strategy" that I don't partake in.
I quit the game I was playing and turned off this mod after that. While Well Supplied might be in the game to balance some player's strategies that you don't agree with. It also punishes legit types of warfare in my opinion.
I disagree with making a core game play change to fix 1 type of cheesy play style, but its your mod... c'est la vie.
