what .nav mesh file does?
will it add npcs automatically ?
and also is there any map with intractable npcs?

NAV mesh files make it so nextbots can move around, however, if theres no nav in a map, a nextbot cannot move.

nextbots are npcs, you should already have one by default in garrys mod, theres more on the workshop you can download.
