I like your mod tech
A couple of personal suggestions:

1. The envio droid... make it so that if you plant a bunch of trees, it will give you a gift and then go away.

2. Make the cheese guy encounter non-persistent so that he goes away when you leave the area.

1. The Environmental Drone mainly serves as a non-space way to get mech components. I might make it so it leaves by itself after a few minutes. If it stays off screen for too long, it despawns by itself. You can type /toggledronespawning to disable drones.

2. Yes! I'll put that in the next update.
Could you add in the mechs soon? I'm sure I could use them.

I just had a very dumb idea. Since you can't hold the scanner on one hand and the manipulator on the other, how about a scanner that lets you left-click for scanning objects and props and right-click for scanning people?

unfortunately, no-- the vanilla scan mode stuff is hardcoded. Your best bet would be to do this:
/spawnitem scanmode 1 '{"twoHanded":false}
Random suggestion: Do you think you could add compatibility of the Betabound stations (and C menu!) with the Extended GUI mod?

I can't make any gaurentees since new GUI images are slow to make, but I'll try it someday! in the meantime, the Compact Crafting mod (which turns the list into a grid) COULD work as a workaround

I think the healing from the Betabound foods lasts too short a time. Not really a major issue, but in Enraged Koala, Banana Bread healed you for about 20 seconds. (I think it would be a good move to make it last less time if you get Well Fed from the same food, if that's possible.)

Noted! In Enraged Koala, it had a food value of 100, whereas now it has a food value of 13.75. Since the healing from Betabound food is loosely tied to its food value, I changed it.

Also! I checked the Banana Bread and noticed that it was giving the wrong amount of regeneration-- I'll have it corrected by the next update! Thank you for bringing this to my attention!
No problem, just make sure you check each food that provides regeneration, I just used banana bread as an example.
I was very confused the first time I tried it, so I think you should have a different message that comes up when trying to use the portable pixel printer in protected areas. Right now it just says "Not enough empty space" and it's confusing.
By any chance could compatibility be added for this weather mod for tentacle planets (and in the future when temperature is readded)? https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1111827118
Just looking at those icons, it seems like some of those are the same as some weathers from the earlier beta versions, so I'd imagine those are planned to be added back eventually anyway.
