First of all I have to say I love the theme and atmosphere on this map. It combines something old and new in a unique way in my opinion and yes, finally something out of our mundane earth :)

*LAYOUT*

I have to say I really like it. It feels very simple, fast paced, yet seems to offer a variety of tactics:

- The cat in the middle seems like a veeery important spot on the map, as it allows team to easily flank their opponents and control most of the map. One thing that might need some balancing imo is that right now it seems to me that Ts have a faster and easier hold of this area than CTs. Once Ts get hold of this area, CTs seem to be forced to camp behind bombsite in right corner part of their map.

- I think the variety of tactics used would even shine more if the map would be a bit bigger. Like 1.25 - 1.5x of its current size. It would give the teams a little more time for planning, also might balance out the cat area in the mid if the Ts would be pushed a bit further back.

- Love the tunnel under mid cat which gives CTs some control over the mid and one T route and also provides another way to quickly rotate the entrances.

- Love the usage of water, not only because it also adds up to the theme, but it also gives you some audio intel of movements.

*BOMBSITE*

- Could use a little more cover, more spots to hold the site from. Once you lose the mid control, it seems to me that your only option for holding is behind the site next to the rock wall from CTs pov.

- I get the point why you added the fountain as a spot of interest, however I feel that it impairs the movement on the site.

- To address the above mentioned points, maybe it could be a thing to replace the fountain with I dont know, perhaps food/water supplies in the middle, would give you a spot to still hold from and improve the movent around it.

*NADES*

There are quite a few elements here which seem really interesting to me and Im not sure if they are good or bad:

- Since both spawns are pretty close to eachother, its possible to keep on nading the opposing spawn, mid and even the bombsite from the buyzone, however exploiting this could be punished by being quikly flanked from the opposing team.

- I love the fact that with a few specific skill throws you can use nade bounces on the outer metal construction of the map.

*VISIBILITY*

- There is one specific thing that Im not such a fan of and that is using foliage as a cover. F.e. the one on mid cat area where it is placed exactly in the LOS which determines the early control of upper mid. I would just remove that altogether as an AWPer could easily exploit this.

- Besides that, I think the map has overall a pretty good visiblity. The outer gray walls blend with CT models only a bit, so thats completely fine imo.

*ATMOSPHERE & VISUALS*

Loving the atmosphere, feels pretty alive and vibrant even if its an abandoned site ages away from our home.

- The outer metal construction over the map feels really cool.

- The use of foliage with theme seems realistic and adds life to the map.

- The use of a simple color mixture red + gray + white stone mixture seems to be working together.

- Tropical soundscape really fits this theme. (the storm sounds might not be that off the point, since you could have sandstorms or whatever crazy ♥♥♥♥ happening on a different planet :D)

*CLIPPING*

I love the clipping on the walls and disabled collisions on wall "stuff" well done my friend ;)

However as I already mentioned, it would be a good idea to put a big horizontal clip brush above the level as it is possible to break out of the playable area with more people.

*SUMMARY*

Overall a very interesting put together map. The atmosphere kicks in and the action almost instantly. I can imagine this being an addictive adrenaline rush :)



p.s. Take this feedback with a grain of salt, much of the stuff mentioned might only be a subjective judgment in the end of day and im still a noob. Oh and it would be cool if you could add the layout img on the loading screen ;)
