Anyone know what this weird door is about. Its been here before the pearl was even added in. It contains no entrance and the only thing in it is a door just like the one the others put up at decoy village. Can i get an answer?

This was actually left over from a VERY early version of the pearl, from before I even uploaded this project to the workshop.

That room serves three purposes:

1) To contain a leak involving a certain ladder
2) To house a secret trigger for something else in the map
did you really think I was going to tell you? It's a secret for a reason.
3) A clue for another secret that is yet to be added.

Cool i remember seeing it when I was looking at the pearl when it was just a spoiler map. I did think it had something to do with triggers on the map. Many of which i find start certain events and such. But now It has made me want to look closer at the map for more secrets.
The maps has come along way from just the hatch and is a one of a kind map that you put a ton of effort into! I never expected this much to be added when it was just the hatch. Keep up the good work!

Yea i have an idea to use a manhack and emitter to create a sort of black smoke for it :D

I had never thought of doing the smoke monster like that before. I guess the only problem with this is getting it to roam the map when it is not attacking someone, as manhacks normally just float upward when idle

I had never thought of doing the smoke monster like that before. I guess the only problem with this is getting it to roam the map when it is not attacking someone, as manhacks normally just float upward when idle

That is one of the issues that the happen. Other things happen such as when the manhack is colored to be invisible the eyes can still be seen. Causing it to appear if there are red dots floating around. The second issue is that when it hits objects such as a tree or wall the manhack emits sparks. The emitter also causes the manhack to collide with it. So you must disable collisions for the hack.
However, there are many things that the manhacks do that are good such as harming the player when touched. Meaning that if the smoke gets to close the player takes damage. Other things such as following the player when seen and raises its altitude. Creating a effect quite pleasing.
These issues probably could be fixed with a little work.

Watching the conversation, very interesting idea. We plan to tackle the smoke at the very end, when the map will really look like an entire island. And I think that black smoke will mostly fly in dark territory . But he can also be summoned, as Ben did in the camp, through a secret room where he went and flushed the water.

Now for the smoke, we'd like to find someone who can make Npc in the game or tools. I imagine it as a tool that would turn you into this black smoke and you could fly and do damage to players or objects.

Yes, you guys have tons of plans! The Skybox needs updating to something more than what looks like a unfolded cardboard box lol.
