Make sure you only have this mod and it's requirements installed and enabled, uninstall or deactivate any and all other mods you have and try again.
Lotta people assume his collection has something to do with this mod and or is to be used with this mod, but that definitely is not the case.
If you're not using VNN's collection, then I don't know what to tell you. Unless you're getting an error code in the console there's not really anything I can do about it.
