Sorry nobody's gotten back to you on this yet. In my own playthroughs, I ended up euthanizing a lot of animals as soon as they were sick because the ability to isolate animals is so limited in 1.3 now. You used to be able to set a quarantine zone and have animals respect that, but now pen animals only respect pens, and you can't even specify which animals you want in what pens :( I wish I knew how to change that, because I would post that mod so fast lol
