Detailed Gameplay & Balance Changes vs. Vanilla (WIP - Locked for now)
Below there's a list of detailed data about what (intentionally) changed in the game's gameplay and balance aspects from its state in vanilla to the current state as of 1.0

This list is intended to both serve as indicative for people who may wish to know more about what the mod specifically adds beyond the 'many changes' stated in the main page, and as a keep-track list for me.

While this is merely informative, feedback is welcomed.
Also note this includes some of the balance changes already present in Beyond Typus 9.0, which this mod uses as base, and many of the changes are merely to accomodate new tags, cultures, etc. so in reality they aren't balance changes, but rather changes to maintain vanilla balance.

Base balance changes
(defines, basic modifiers, etc)
  • Number of max. HRE free cities increased from 8 to 20
  • Number of HRE princes threshold in which you lose/gain IA increased from 25 to 45
  • Monthly imperial authority per HRE prince reduced from 0.1 to 0.075
  • Monthly imperial authority per HRE free city reduced from 0.005 to 0.003
  • Monthly imperial authority lost per foreign-controlled HRE province reduced from 0.005 to 0.003
  • Number of Great Powers increased from 8 to 10
  • Merchant republic province limit increase from 20 to 55
  • Military power cost to boost militarization (Prussia) reduced from 50 to 25
  • Amount of development needed to gain +1 AT per fort reduced from 50 to 25
  • Base fort maintenance cost reduced from 0.5 to 0.25
  • Loyalty loss per % of relative development taken away from an estate reduced from 5 to 3
  • Development needed for an OPM to be elegible for HRE free city decreased from 10 to 8
  • Amount of colonial nations that can be created in a single game increased from 75 to 100
  • AE hit per development of a province conquered in a peace deal reduced from 0.75 to 0.65
  • Prestige gained per development of a province conquered in a peace deal reduced from 0.25 to 0.2
  • Base scaling warscore cost to conquer a province reduced from 1 to 0.8 (this means -20% warscore cost per province, returnt core, revoke cores or vassalize cost)
  • Native Repression Policy settler growth bonus increase from +20 to +35
  • New 'Hard' difficulty with the bonuses of 'Very Hard' but watered down
  • Capitals now have an extra building slot, regardless of development
  • Base diplomatic slots decreased from 4 to 3
  • Base manpower reduced from 10,000 to 8,000
  • Base max. states reduced from 10 to 8
  • Base slots for accepted cultures reduced from 2 to 1
  • All AI nations now have -2% army and navy decay
  • War exhaustion no longer increases coring cost
  • War exhaustion now decreases army moraly recovery speed up to -10% at 20 WE
  • Land force limit and manpower bonuses per HRE prince for the emperor reduced by half
  • Yearly tax income per HRE free city for the emperor decreased from 2 to 0.65
  • Manpower increase per HRE free city for the emperor decreased from 1000 to 350
  • Land force limit bonus per HRE free city for the emperor decreased from 0.5 to 0.15
  • Monthly militarization (Prussia) penalty per province decreased from -0.015 to -0.009
  • Stability cost increase from overextension increased from +50% at 100 OE to +100%
  • Base naval force limit for all nations reduced from 12 to 8
  • Diplomatic reputation penalty from dishonouring an alliance increased from -1 to -2
