Also IKR, Soul trapping pistol, elemental bullets. Stamina draining bullets, Holy bullets (undead flee). If I could take the enchant from silver swords I'd totally put that on my musket.
Oh and something funny I noticed. If you use the block button with the musket, directly after reloading it (usually one or two seconds) and hit someone, sometimes it'll play a stabbing sound, and do the full damage of the bullet that was recently fired. It's quite funny when I shoot an archer then stab a charging swordsman with my barrel. XD
Possibly, was just a matter of left hand, right hand, it seemed to work alright for awhile. But as I said in my above post, I kind of tempted fate because the pistol hadn't crashed me until that point. I learned to just stick with the Musket, it's the most effective thus far.

My game looks horrible but I do like the look of the character.
From my screenshot. It is this armor: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=119331340
With this fix: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=178968980
2: The blunderbuss and musket are retextures of crossbows while the pistol is a retexture of staff. The way it sits on a rack depends on the original item. Sorry. :/
3: This is a very strange bug that I haven't heard anybody complain about. Next time, just try reloading the save. If it does continue, please inform us again.
4: The enchantment is to make the guns different from a crossbow. It increases or decreases speed, changes damage, and changes accuracy. We can't avoid you breaking it down, but it is sort of an immersion breaker, that's your choice.
5: The cannot be enchanted, because only one enchanment can be placed upon an item at a time. Unless you can the enchanted perk that allows you to add one more enchantment.
6: That seems like a game bug more then the mod. I will test this out, but the guns are just retextured crossbows.
Thank you.
2. That would explain why they sat in strange positions. I'm not really using them to decorate my home anymore, as I found myself using all the spaces for unique weapons from the base game and still running out of spaces. Just wasn't sure if it was fixable, thanks for confirming it's more hardcoding.
3. Well since playing that save I ran into several issues with my laptop, have had to pull it apart physically, fix it, and then had to format the harddrive up. This means I no longer have the save file in which the bug occured. But I will certainly try to replicate it next time I use the mod, and let you know what happens, along with screenshots or maybe video if my laptop will allow it.
4. Alright so again, hardcode limits, makes sense really. It is a little immersion breaking but if I may ask. Would you get the same benefit from the enchantment if you used it on a crossbow or even a bow?
5. I think even with the enchanter perk, you have to either put 2 on at once. Otherwise you'll be stuck with one. I don't remember exactly though, it may be retroactive.
6. I do not know exactly, I've got the screenshots of it, but at the time I was not using any Breezeholme improvement mods or anything. That said I did not try dropping a regular crossbow inside of Breezeholme.
You're welcome and thank you for responding.
The workaround for this is the simple (non-immersive) solution of making and carrying back-ups as they are nearly as cheap as dirt to make (for me at least).
2) Perhaps I'm just that terrible of a shot, but why is the musket missing at least 80% of the time
at any range while the blunderbuss becomes my main sniper weapon? I'm talking within Fireball or even Flames range and missing 5 shots in a row when they're standing still. At long range? Forget trying. I'm aware that Skyrim archery is notoriously inaccurate but when I go back and get the sniper kill in the first shot with a blunderbuss *repeatedly*, I have to think something's not working quite right. I''l grant that perhaps it was something on my end since by the time I installed this mod, my game was starting to act up a bit.
I'm just wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem.
When I used the musket, the only thing I couldn't hit was the targets at the maximum view distance. Are you leading your shots at all? Because the enchantment on the guns speeds up the projectile speed so instead of travelling like an arrow it's more like a bullet. I found that when I stopped trying to lead my shots, I hit more often than missed.
The blunderbuss is probably getting those sniper kills because it loads and fires scattershot, which sprays everywhere.
